Resources for Internal Medicine Education

Hello community, I hope you’re all doing well. As a first-year resident in Internal Medicine, I’ve come across Andre Mansoor’s podcasts and YouTube sessions, which I find quite engaging. He presents the field of internal medicine so beautifully. I’m curious to hear thoughts on the ‘Frameworks of Internal Medicine’ book and whether it merits the investment of my limited educational budget. Additionally, are there other podcasts or YouTube channels you would recommend, excluding Curbsiders?

i’ve heard many peers rave about “Frameworks of Internal Medicine.” any specific aspects of Andre Mansoor’s channels that you find more beneficial? maybe we can explore more similar content. also, have you checked out “the clinical problem solvers,” a podcast? their approach to case discussions is often enlightening.

“Frameworks of Internal Medicine” is def a worthy buy. Dr. Paul Bolin’s “MedCram” on youtube is great too; covers diverse topics with clarity. If you enjoy more interactive content, “Core IM” podcast has great clinical pearls. give them a try if you haven’t yet!
