What's expected of front-end developers after 2-3 years?

Hey everyone! I’m curious about the journey of front-end developers who’ve been in the field for 2-3 years. What skills did you focus on during this time? I know when we start out, we usually learn React, state management, routing, and some basic testing. But I’m wondering how your coding style has changed since then. What do you do differently now compared to when you first started? Also, what kind of expectations do companies have for developers at this experience level? It would be great to hear about your experiences and how you’ve grown as a developer. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!

hey there! after 2-3 years, i’ve noticed a big shift in how i approach projects. i’m way more focused on scalability and performance now. have u found urself diving into more advanced topics like web accessibility or serverside rendering? it’s crazy how much there is to learn in this field! what areas are u most excited to explore next?

after 2-3 yrs, u should be pretty comfy with advanced stuff like performance optimization, accessibility, and leading small projects. i focused on mastering state management and digging deeper into testing. companies expect u to handle complex tasks independently and mentor juniors. the biggest change is thinking more about scalability and best practices in my code.
