Why Isn't a New Web Language Emerging to Replace or Enhance JavaScript?

While modern programming languages like Swift and Rust have gained traction, there’s still no distinct alternative to JavaScript for both browser and server environments. Could a unified language merging client and server functionality be the answer?

hey, i think js’s popularity is partly becuse of its huge ecosystem. trying to replace it might require starting a whole new envirnment. do u think a new lang could ever capture that same magic?

hey, in my opinion js is so baked into every dev kit that replacing it is like reinventing the wheel. a new lang might help certain tasks, but for a full switch, the hassle and legacy issues would probably kill its momentum.
