Best Mac SVN GUI client similar to TortoiseSVN

Hey everyone! I’ve been using TortoiseSVN on Windows for years and love its simplicity in managing version control. Now that I’m transitioning to Mac for my development tasks, I’m in search of a comparable tool.

I require a reliable graphical SVN client that offers a user-friendly experience. Ideally, it should allow me to right-click on files and folders for actions like committing changes, updating, viewing differences, and performing essential SVN functions without relying on the command line.

What SVN clients do you all use on Mac? Are there any that provide a similar experience to TortoiseSVN? I’ve come across a few names, but I’d appreciate recommendations from those who have used them.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I switched a few years ago and went with Versions after testing several options. The interface makes sense if you’re coming from TortoiseSVN, plus it works great with Finder through the browser extension. The visual diff tool is solid and branching is straightforward. You might also check out Syncro SVN Client - it keeps that right-click context menu you’re used to. Both handle SVN operations reliably without forcing you into terminal. Versions is more polished overall, but Syncro gives you more granular control for advanced features.

cornerstone’s a good pick if ur okay with spending some cash - it has that right-click stuff you’re after and feels pretty much like tortoise. smartsvn’s alright but does take some time to get used 2. both are way better than messin with terminal commands!

what’s your workflow like - mostly solo work or team stuff? and what’s your budget for a gui client? the good ones aren’t free, but they’re probably worth it if you’re used to tortoise. have you tried any or still looking around?
