Does a dedicated Frontend Developer role still exist?

Clarified Query

I love focusing on frontend development but ended up in a full-stack role with backend and devops tasks. Are pure frontend positions still viable today?

im not a 100% sure but dedicated frontend gigs still pop up, mostly in smaller agencies or startups. sometimes they dont advertize as much as fullstack roles, so try niche boards and network a bit.

hey, i think dedicated frotndend roles still exist, but many companies push full-stack skills now. even though, sticking to ui can be a real niche. have u noticed any pure ui gigs lately?

Based on my experience, dedicated frontend roles continue to make an impact in the industry despite the prevalence of full-stack positions. Companies with a strong focus on design and user experience still value specialists who concentrate on frontend development. I have worked in environments where the team worked exclusively on enhancing the UI and client-side performance. This approach allows for deeper expertise in technologies like React, Vue, or Angular, and emphasizes the need for continuous learning as frameworks and practices evolve.
