Is my current salary reasonable for 5 years of frontend development experience in Pakistan?

Hello folks,

I have been doing frontend work for about 5 years now at a tech company in Islamabad. They are paying me PKR 110,000 monthly. My work setup is mostly remote with occasional office visits (maybe 1-2 times weekly). My main tech stack involves Angular Native for building user interfaces.

I don’t have many contacts in the tech field who discuss compensation openly, so I’m unsure whether my current pay matches industry standards or if I should be earning more considering my years of experience.

Any feedback from fellow developers working in similar positions across Pakistan would be really helpful. Much appreciated!

your salary looks pretty decent for your experience. i’m in lahore too, doing js for 4 years and earning around 90k. remote work is a bonus - saves time & money. just keep improving your skills and you’ll be fine!

hey there! it’s really hard to say without knowing more about the company. but 110k seems reasonable for many places. have you checked job sites for comparatives? also, any plans for upskilling or networking more? would love to hear what others think!
