I’m a PGY-1 resident in Internal Medicine who recently discovered Andre Mansoor’s podcasts and live sessions that cast internal medicine in an almost artistic light. I’m looking for community insights on whether the ‘Internal Medicine Frameworks’ book justifies its cost given a limited budget. Furthermore, I’m eager to hear about any alternative podcasts or YouTube channels (other than Curbsiders) that you believe are worth following.
The ‘Internal Medicine Frameworks’ book offers a concise approach to clinical reasoning, which can enhance thinking strategies during patient care. In my experience, the practical organization of content helps in quickly anchoring complex cases in a structured manner. For those operating on a limited budget, the investment may be justifiable if you value efficiency in clinical decision-making. In addition to existing podcasts, I have found certain specialty YouTube channels, such as those dedicated to clinical case discussions, to be great supplementary resources for varied perspectives.
hey, i didnt invest in it but heard its good for building solid diag reasoning. its not magic tho, supplement with small niche podcasts on internal med and you get a pretty well-rounded view. might be worth tryin if budget allows
